iOS 14.5 Beta 3 released to Developers and Public Beta Testers two weeks ago and iOS 14.4 .1 has been out to the public a few days. iOS 14.5 Beta 3 and Public Beta 3 has an additional feature that was not mentioned in prior iOS 14.5 release videos. In this video I go over issues with iOS 14.4.1, new features of iOS 14.5 Beta 3, and also go over the performance, existing bugs and issues and help you decide if you should install iOS 14.4.1. I also go over when to expect iOS 14.5 Beta 4, or iOS 14.5 RC, and when to expect a public release of iOS 14.5. Vasilis Vasilakis for me at the 2% to 1% and only legs it doesn't crash and it just is really slow I think I might get the iPhone 13 in about a year because it will actually have a punch hole camera on the front and hopefully all of these bugs will be gone honestly even though iOS 14 is having these bugs it can't be any worse than one hi on my s8 it's stuck on android pie 9.0 which is way older than any iPhone now and it's super laggy at times way more than my iPhone 5 on 10.3.4 right now weird

Am using a 3-year-old XS and a 12 Pro Max (a gift to me). I have not experienced any speed difference because that A12 is soooo powerful. After all, Apple doesn’t skim out on processor in any of their phones, because they still carry a premium price. I do have a different experience in speed when using a Pixel 5 (slower than the Pixel 4), and that 765 is no match to 865, which 865 itself is no match to A-series Apple processors. Speed does matter, and 765 is not very speedy to me.

I really hope iOS 14.4.1 won't mess my iPhone SE 2nd gen more up.. It's already messed up with getting warm and optimised battery charging not working, I really don't need to get it hotter than it is now. I guess my phone will make it or not. (Battery is fine according to Apple and at 99% percent after almost a year) Update: My phone is cooling down at the moment it's not really warm, just they way you'd expect it to be after an update, it charges the way it always does and I'll update this in a couple of days. :D

The Bluetooth when I am using my headphones sometimes it will connect to my iPhone when I am using them on my MacBook or iPad Pro the moment I get a notification on my iPhone or Apple Watch my headphones will connect to them and after I will have reconnected my headphones again to my device but I my MacBook it updating now to latest iOS right now it did on my iPhone and iPad already so hoping it will be fixed

With this update of 14.4.1 I’m been experiencing “no sim” drop out everyday, it annoying and I’m wondering if it could be affected by this update or not. I have tried remove the SIM card and reinserting it, and restarting it but doesn’t seem to change anything, any recommendations?

Also I'm using a iPhone 5 as an iPod touch/IPad replacement and it works perfectly on 10.3.4 last version supported so far and nothing to complain about everything works as it should which is weird because you would think an older version would be worse than the newer versions apparently that's not true

Battery life is definitely much better on iOS 14.4.1 then iOS 14.4 but the back of my iPhone 11 Pro Max is still getting hot. At the top under the camera section on the back . But still over heating elsewhere on the back .

Regarding the asking for verification of Apple ID after restart, I called Apple about that when I first started having that issue. We went through some troubleshooting steps and the guy said from Apple sounds like you’ve been hacked! LOL

The promax gets more than that. Since you already have a large phone, you have to compare it with the other big phone such as the 11 Pro Max or 12 pro max which it does get much more battery life. Almost double

iOS 14.5 Beta 3 and it's absolutely horrible all around. 1- Put on your airpods and call Siri and it's initial response comes from the phone not from the Airpods 2- Incoming calls default to iPhone instead of Airpods in my ears 3- Having to login to iCloud after each reboot 4- Watch unmask does not work on many ocassions 5- WatchOS 7.4 beta is totally off with activity tracking and calorie counts, and can't even recognize standing time on many ocassions.

Try a hard reset/reboot.Usually solves the problem.Also,you may need a new battery in a phone as old as the iPhone 8.

Ios 14.4.1 has brought back battery drain when my i12 PM is not being used at night while im asleep..it drains anywhere from 5-20% of battery. Also some minor screen stuttering issues on certain apps (scrolling on AM-posts is one of them)

I have noticed irregularities in brightness. My phone will not hold a consistent level. I have to manually go to control center and turn brightness down frequently. I did not adjust it up. I am on 14.4.1 on a 12 Pro. I have had the green tint issue. I wonder if this was an attempt to resolve that issue.

My battery on my iPhone 11 (bought new on July 1, 2020) stayed at 100% for the first few months I had it, then went down to 97% by time it was 5 months old. I was using a 10 watt charger. My wife’s iPhone 11 was charged during that time using the 5 watt charger and hers is still at 100%. I stopped using the faster charger around November and went back to the 5 watt charger and it hasn’t dropped any further. Still holding at 97%. Fast charging KILLS batteries!

I am having WiFi issues. For iOS 14.4.1. I also have a pacemaker defibrillator combine. I had no idea it would interfere not sure if this is the issue for me not to have WiFi. Bluetooth Issue with my free style libe can’t communicate. Omnipods Dash insulin pump is working fine. I am having poor service with safari with or without WiFi. I get only LTE in my area. After 1 hr of charge my cell battery gets hot.

I found a bug on iPhone 12 Pro Max for 14.4.1. After playing the game fnaf AR, when I exited the app and quickly swiped up to close it, the screen had a blue tint on it and it affected the entire display until I shut the phone off using a press of the power button. This only happened on this new update. Did anybody else experience this? It only happened once if your wondering.

IOS 14.4.1 iPhone X (battery health 84%) I got problems with my bluetooth connection. Problems with safari don’t react when I touch the screen. It getting hotter since I upgrade when I’m charging and when I use the phone. Bettery live horrible (battery at 84%). App lagging getting worst. When I upgraded this ios version I reboot the phone 2 times. Lagging made me do it.

Aaron, I know this doesn’t have much to do with this video, but do you think going caseless with an iPhone 12 is an ok idea in general? I’m careful with my phones and don’t really drop them. I guess I’d only be worried about scratches and scuffs
