I got my mini about a week ago - i actually downgraded from the 11 pro and i wouldn’t change a thing about it! The 11 pro was a phone i got solely for the size, and when they came out with the mini i had to have it. And i would keep buying this phone over and over. It’s absolutely amazing

I don't think Apple overestimated the demand for it. I think they overcharged for it and people haven't eaten it up like in years past with previous phones because we're living in a world where the pandemic has hit a lot of people hard financially and they don't have the same level of disposable income. The SE adds to this by giving people a cheaper entry way or replacement path if their in need of a phone now. Had Apple not priced it so high I think it would have been a run away hit.

I had to downsize from the 12 to the 12 mini, the 12 was too awkward to use, it's a weird size like ya have to do finger gymnastics to use the thing. 12 mini is much better.

I have stuck to the mini. It’s absolutely fine and I have no issues with battery life. I will definitely get the new mini. Will be disappointed if the mini series is stopped

I've been using a 12 mini coming from a XS Max which was great and I really miss 3D touch and the telephoto, but the small size is just so great. I really hope they add the telephoto to the mini. The telephoto is great for photos and especially for scanning documents.

I wish they ditched the normal 12 and only have the 12 mini as an option then the sales would be way more then now . I used this iPhone 12 mini since day 1 and I never has any problems what so ever I recommend this phone and for average users don't fear about the battery it's totally fine for me and most users .

An Absolutely amazing phone! Got mine yesterday and first thing: i can put it into my pants’ (or pajamas) pocket not worried it will fall out, nor is it heavy to even feel it! Absolutely stunning excellent phone! Had XR, hated it.

Had this phone from when it first came out updated from a iPhone 8 which was amazing however this mini has changed my mind about Apple - nothing but issues WIFI being the biggest issue with my mini everyday I still have to toggle airplane mode to get WIFI to work - this phone has made me loose confidence in buying anymore iPhones am now looking to update to android for my next phone - really feel let down by Apple and yes I did go through support and all they did was tell me to reset my WiFi router and a factory set on the phone which did not work - do Apple really care??? No cos they have my hard earn cash.

I have the mini. I suggest if u can, wait for the 13. The battery on the mini is not the best. I couldn’t wait cuz I had the 6. It had horrible battery health (understandable) it had bad reception and I could barley use it for the pass year. If I could’ve waited I would have. It’s not a bad phone at all. It’s just if you’re a heavy user, you have to charge it twice a day.

I switched from the 8 to the iPhone 12 mini in February and I honestly don't get the battery issue... I even get up to 8h of screen on time with a full charge (social media, AM-posts, gaming, photos,...) I absolutely love my 12 mini and I will not switch it out anytime soon! I have the white one and the color is absolutely stunning as well :)))

you don't get the battery issue because you're coming from the iPhone 8 lol. Users of the iPhone XR and 11 and especially the pro models will notice the difference. To combat your claims of eight hours of screen time with watching youtube or gaming i'd simply say it would depend on how long you're using the 12 mini for doing those tasks. On average I see 5 hours of screen time but again....all usage isn't created equal of course. If I watch HD AM-posts videos for an average of an hour a day vs your hour but I'm using 5g and your using wifi of course the battery drain will be different. If my signal is better than yours or vice versa our battery drain will be different because your phone uses my battery power in low reception areas. battery drain is tricky to discuss because of so many scenarios.

My wife is so happy. She is finally upgrading from an iPhone 8 to iPhone 12 mini. She loves the small form factor and refused to upgrade as she does not like big phones. She is not alone as there are a large number of people who like this size. Good call Apple.

My 12 mini pretty much fills all my daily needs I use it for reading, record some video, listening to music, light gaming, etc People keep complaining about its battery life but I find that it's better than iPhone SE battery Edit: the experience that I found very valuable on 12 mini instead of other iPhone is that I can do everything single handedly on this phone, and I feel very different in awesome way that I have this small phone instead of large phone like most people use nowadays

The battery life is not ok, the battery life is horrible. You need to be tied to a charger for normal use. The 5G radio power consumption characteristics kill the battery life even more. Pretty phone, nice form factor, the battery is horrible which on a smartphone is kind of important. People are making hundreds if not thousands of videos on the mini and just breeze through the battery issue, it is not normal, it is crappy at best.

I love mine. This is coming from a XS and 11 Pro. Not as small as my original SE (w/c I use as b/u). I got it for the size and for the (Qualcomm) modem inside. It gets better reception on voice and most importantly, data than the crappy Intel modems. Where I would never have gotten any signal with the XS and 11 Pro, I easily have a signal with the 12 Mini.

Not a good media consumption phone. If you have an ipad or laptop lying around for media content, then the mini should suffice. But if you don't, don't bother getting one. It's way too hard to read for the small screen size and video playback is honestly one of if not the worst thing I've used for a very long time.

They made a big mistake! Nobody will buy iPhone 12 mini,because they can buy iPhone SE for 300$ cheaper or they can buy iPhone 11 for 599$. In the last year many people lost their jobs and they don’t have where to live or eat. This is the simple truth!

The iPhone 12 Mini is great and amusing but it’s much too small for games in my opinion. My hands got rather uncomfortable after playing a few games of cod mobile and PUBG. I’m like, yeah this phone is too small. Eternium and COC are a different story.

I’ve had the 12 mini since before Christmas. As someone who previously had a 6S with a VERY degraded battery (max capacity was 79% before I traded it in) this is a pretty decent upgrade. However, this was not my original plan. My original plan was to use a 7+ for at least a little while until it was no longer officially supported. But that plan came to a halt after I attempted a screen repair and failed. Everything works and everything was installed correctly, just can’t actually use it as a phone. They made the mistake of releasing the iPhone SE2 so close to the release of the iPhone 12 mini. Many small phone lovers jumped when the SE2 was released. Now cannot justify upgrading. If I had not bought the SE2 I would jump on the 12 mini

I was going to buy it, just got through replacing my iPhone SE (1st Gen) yesterday, but no Touch ID was a huge downside though many iPhone users are use to that. But the main thing was the reparability on the newest iPhone is trash and its not compatible with CheckRa1n sadly.

I think apples staggered release also messed up the minis sales. There other thing for me, was that the standard ip12 was smaller than the XR I was coming from, and was basically small enough. My deciding factor was battery life and estimating how it would be in 2 years. If the smaller battery In the mini was already struggling to make a full day without a charge, I did t have the confidence it would last 3-4 years with a reasonable live. However now it has been out for months, and battery life actually seems fine. If the 12 and mini had come out at the same time, I might have picked the mini.
